Crash That Killed Woodbury Man May Be Hit-And-Run: Sheriff
The single-vehicle crash is now being investigated as a hit-and-run, according to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Department.
WOODBURY, MN— The Memorial Day crash that killed a Woodbury man is now being investigated as a hit-and-run, according to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies originally said that Shaun Allen Omalley, 58, was killed when his vehicle drove off Highway 72 near Sunny Beach Road Northeast and rolled into a ditch.
Deputies are now saying that the crash is suspected to be a hit-and-run, which they believe occurred at 6:50 a.m. on Monday morning.

Deputies said they believe community members in Kelliher or Waskish may have seen the crash and are asking any witnesses to come forward. The Sheriff's Office also posted security camera footage of a man on Facebook, naming him as the suspect and asking for community members to identify him. Deputies said they believe he fled from the crash heading southbound on Highway 72.
