Drunk MN Man Stopped From Driving Bus With Children Onboard: Police
The bus driver was transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of third-degree DUI and child endangerment.

COTTAGE GROVE, MN — A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Wednesday after school staff at Park High School intervened to prevent him from driving a school bus full of children, according to authorities.
At 3:11 p.m., the Cottage Grove Public Safety Department responded to a report of the driver being under the influence at 8040 80th St., Park High School.
Before police arrived, school staff took swift action, removing the keys from the bus and standing by, authorities said.

Officers later arrived at the scene and found probable cause to arrest the driver for DUI.
The man was brought to the Cottage Grove Police Department, where a search warrant was executed for a blood test.

The driver was then transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of third-degree DUI and child endangerment.
The Cottage Grove Public Safety Department extended thanks "to the quick-thinking of school staff that took immediate action to prevent the driver from leaving with children on the bus."
