Fighting Calculators: Math and Science Academy Robotics Team Wins Regional Tournament
The team will soon head to St. Louis for the world championships.

Student engineers from Woodbury’s Math and Science Academy won the late-March robotics competition at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis.
The win over 60 other squads in the Northstar Regional tournament moves the team to the world championships in St. Louis in about three weeks. There, the Fighting Calculators will take on 240 other robotics teams from across the world.
The Math and Science Academy team also won two other awards at the Northstar event: one for team spirit and another for team safety.
