Woodbury Leadership Academy (WLA) is a tuition-free, K-12 public charter school where high expectations and success matter to all! Student engineers from Woodbury's Math and Science Academy won the late-March robotics competition at <a href="http://www1.umn.edu/twincities/maps/MarA/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Mariucci Arena</a> in Minneapolis. The win over 60 other squads in the <a href="http://www.mnfirstregional.org/frc/northstar" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Northstar Regional tournament</a> moves the team to the world championships in St. Louis in about three weeks. There, the Fighting Calculators will take on 240 other robotics teams from across the world. The Math and Science Academy team also won two other awards at the Northstar event: one for team spirit and another for team safety.
