First Tee Golf Tournament at Eagle Valley Golf Course

The First Tee program looks to introduce the game to young people.

Woodbury on Monday, July 8, announced plans for the first annual First Tee Golf Tournament at Eagle Valley Golf Course.

The city’s municipal course, in conjunction with the First Tee program, will host the fundraising golf event on Friday, Aug. 2.

All proceeds from the event will go toward the First Tee program.

The shotgun golf tournament will begin at noon, followed by dinner and a program at 5 p.m.

Registration before July 22 costs $125 per player ($150 per player between July 23 and July 29). Sponsorship opportunities also are available.

Registration includes:

  • 18 holes of golf (including golf cart rental);
  • dinner and program following golf; and
  • on-course activities and prizes.

People can fill out a registration form and drop it off at the course, or mail it to: Eagle Valley Golf Course, 2600 Double Eagle Lane, Woodbury, MN 55129.
