MINNESOTA — GiveMN’s 13th annual “Give to the Max Day” raised almost $34.4 million last week for more than 6,400 organizations across the state.
The fundraising bonanza featured several donation-boosting raffles, with each donor entered for a chance to win a "Golden Ticket" that gave them $500 to donate to the causes they support. Golden tickets were drawn every 15 minutes.
Hourly golden tickets worth $1,000 were also handed out during the Nov. 18 fundraiser, with Northern Lake Rescue, North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems, Thrive Mighty and Camp Minnesota among the winners.
