WOODBURY, MN — A golf tournament hosted in August by a Woodbury business raised more than $17,000 to support local organizations, education and emergency food shelves.

The Ideal Community Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Ideal Credit Union on Tamarack Road, announced Thursday that it raised $17,265 at its ninth annual golf tournament on Aug. 23.

More than 90 golfers competed at Dellwood Country Club during the tournament, which is the primary fundraiser for the Ideal Community Foundation, according to a news release.
