Hwy 95 Closure Between Hudson And Valley Creek Will Begin Monday
The closure, necessary for a road improvement project, will last through mid-August. Travelers can take a detour on I-94.
WOODBURY, MN — Motorists traveling on Hwy 95 through Woodbury this summer, take note: Starting Monday, Hwy 95/Manning Avenue will be closed between Hudson Road and Valley Creek Road.
The closure will last through mid-August, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (DoT), for the department to continue its Hwy 95/Manning Avenue Safety Improvement Project. Travelers can take a detour on I-94 from Woodbury Drive to Valley Creek Road.
Per the Safety Improvement Project, the DoT will resurface existing pavement, update the highway's drainage system, and install mumble strips – indents on the sides of a highway that provide an audial and tactile warning that a driver is approaching the road edge or opposing traffic.
