3 Incumbents Keep ISD 833 Board Seats: Unofficial Results

One newcomer was also elected to the South Washington County Schools board.

WOODBURY, MN — Three incumbents are set to return to the South Washington County Schools board for another term alongside one newcomer following the Nov. 2 election.

Incumbents Katie Schwartz, Patricia Driscoll and Sharon Van Leer were re-elected after earning the three highest vote totals during the 2021 election, according to unofficial results.

Schwartz earned 10,262 votes, Driscoll earned 9,577 and Van Leer picked up 9,188, unofficial results. show.

Schwartz declared victory and thanked her supporters in a Facebook post around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, saying "We did it!"

Eric Tessmer, who ran as a member of the "Vote 4 Common Sense" slate, earned the fourth-most votes with 8,652, unofficial results show.

Vicki Holst, Jaime Kokaisel and Marge Lindberg were the three other members of the conservative slate. Holst trails Tessmer by 221 votes, while Kokaisel is 413 away from Tessmer's total.

Lindberg is 512 votes behind Tessmer, unofficial results show.

Enrique Ramos earned 6,120 votes, while Michael Bestler earned 5,919 votes, according to unofficial results.
