MnDOT To Host Virtual Meeting On I-94 Project Through Woodbury

Officials are planning a $120 million project to improve I-94 from Oakdale to the St. Croix River, which could take more than two years.

WOODBURY, MN — Minnesota transportation officials are set to lead a virtual meeting Thursday night to detail a $120 million project to improve Interstate 94 in the Woodbury area.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, and residents can register online to participate. Officials will field questions from residents after a brief construction overview, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Work is set to begin in the fall and could last more than two years, officials said.

Plans call for a slew of improvements along I-94 between Oakdale and the St. Croix River, including resurfaced roads and ramps; better accessibility for bikes and pedestrians; updated signage, lighting and drainage; and a new eastbound lane from I-494 to Woodbury Avenue.
