New Poll Shows Gov. Walz Leads Scott Jensen By 4 Points
Gov. Tim Walz's lead appears to have shrunk but is still ahead of his Republican challenger in Scott Jensen.

TWIN CITIES, MN — A new poll shows Gov. Tim Walz leading Republican challenger Scott Jensen by 4 points.
The Cygna poll, conducted by Jensen's campaign, is rated as a B+ poll by Nate Silver's Five Thirty-Eight website.
The poll was conducted between Sept. 24 and Sept. 26 and shows similar results to a Trafalgar Group poll that was conducted on Sept. 14.

The results indicated that the race between Walz and Jensen has tightened considerably since early September when KSTP/Survey USA poll showed Walz with a double-digit lead.
The Republican campaign for Minnesota governor has been marred by controversial statements, including a comment from Jensen comparing COVID-19 lockdown measures to the Holocaust.

However, Jensen's campaign may have been given new life late last month by the legal battle over Feeding Our Future. Jensen has hammered Walz over the case, aruging that Walz didn't do enough to prevent fraud.
Meanwhile, Jensen's verbal gaffes continue. The Republican candidate fell for an internet hoax related to childing using litter boxes in public schools.
