Charges Filed Against Woodbury Man For Thanksgiving Weekend Incident (krforadio.com) — A 22-year-old Woodbury resident has been charged in connection with an alleged stalking and assault case that began at a Rochester apartment complex and continued to the Law Enforcement Center. Investigators say surveillance video and witness accounts link a dark SUV and several individuals to confrontations with the victim, with the Woodbury man now summoned to appear in court this June.

Basketball Recap: Cretin-Derham Hall Skates Past White Bear Lake with Ease (maxpreps.com) — Local hoops followers will note that Cretin-Derham Hall’s strong season includes a 40-point-margin road win at Woodbury back in December. Their latest outing was a 79–38 rout of White Bear Lake, extending the Raiders’ record to 10–2 and continuing a streak of blowout victories as they prepare to face the Bears again later today.
   

3. Educator Works to Fill Meat Cutter Shortage (westconcordmn.net) — An agricultural educator now leading a food science program once worked at Land O’Lakes’ fluid milk facility in Woodbury, testing both incoming and bottled milk. Her career path through Minnesota schools and agencies now fuels efforts to train future food scientists and eventually launch a meat-cutting program to ease worker shortages.
   

4. Will Arnett laughs through the pain in 'Is This Thing On?' (eplocalnews.org) — Woodbury-area movie fans may be interested in a new Bradley Cooper-directed drama, “Is This Thing On?,” opening in Minnesota theaters Jan. 9. Eden Prairie critic Hunter Friesen, who also reviews films for Woodbury News Net, praises the movie’s grounded look at a crumbling marriage, Will Arnett’s raw stand-up scenes, and Laura Dern’s turn as a mom rediscovering herself through Olympic volleyball coaching.
