Primrose Spring Fling 2025: A Celebration of Community, and Childhood
Family fun meets community giving at Primrose School of Woodbury's Spring Fling, raising $10K for kids and K9s.
WOODBURY, MN — On a brisk spring day filled with giggles and smiles, the Primrose School of Woodbury hosted its annual Spring Fling Fundraiser, welcoming families from across the community to enjoy a day of fun, food, and philanthropy. This family-friendly event surpassed all expectations—raising over $10,000 in support of two meaningful causes: the Primrose Schools Children’s Foundation® and the Woodbury Police K9 Fund.
This year’s event highlighted what Primrose School of Woodbury does best: uniting early education with character development and social responsibility. “This event is designed with families in mind, especially those with children under 10,” shared Tonya Holt, franchise owner of Primrose School of Woodbury. “It’s a chance to connect, have fun, and support causes that are near to our hearts.”

Teaching Young Hearts to Give Back
The Spring Fling event is a natural extension of the school’s ongoing mission. At Primrose School of Woodbury, character development is embedded into the daily curriculum—even for the youngest learners. Through age-appropriate lessons and hands-on experiences, children are taught the values of empathy, generosity, fairness, and citizenship.
Spring Fling allows children to put these lessons into action. Whether they’re helping in the garden station, participating in games for a good cause, or simply sharing a smile with their neighbors, they learn firsthand what it means to make a difference.
Supporting Local and National Causes
Funds raised during the event will benefit two vital organizations:
- The Woodbury Police K9 Fund, which supports the specialized needs of K9 officers and their handlers, providing essential training, equipment, and resources to protect and serve our community.
- The Primrose Schools Children’s Foundation®, which partners with nonprofits across the country to support children and families in need through education, health, and safety-focused initiatives.
“This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the generosity and participation of our community,” said Holt. “We are truly grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, or attended. Your support helps us plant seeds of kindness that grow far beyond our school walls.”
A Lasting Impact
Since opening in 2007, Primrose School of Woodbury has earned a reputation for excellence in early education and community engagement. Recognized many times with awards such as “Best of Woodbury” and “Preschool Educator of the Year,” the school continues to lead by example—demonstrating how early education can be both academically enriching and deeply rooted in values.
With Spring Fling 2025 now in the books, the team is already looking ahead to next year’s event—and even more ways to inspire generosity in the hearts of young children.
