Road Work To Close Lanes On Valley Creek Road For 2 Weeks

Westbound lanes are set to be closed Monday through Friday, with eastbound lanes to shut down Oct. 11-15.

WOODBURY, MN — Crews will be working on Valley Creek Road for the next two weeks, prompting lane closures in the area.

Contractors hired by Washington County will grind the concrete on Valley Creek Road between Bielenberg and Radio drives to make the road surface smoother, according to Woodbury and county officials.

The road-improvement project is scheduled to take two weeks, with westbound lanes to be closed Monday through Friday and eastbound lanes closed Oct. 11-15. Radio Drive, City Centre Drive, Tower Drive and Bielenberg Drive will be accessible to one direction of traffic throughout the project, officials said.

The county’s planned detour route will direct drivers to use Bielenberg Drive, Tamarack Road and Radio Drive to get around the lane closures. The 4-mile detour will take drivers about 10 minutes to travel, depending on traffic, according to Google Maps.
