SoWashCo Schools Names New Director Of Facilities

WOODBURY, MN— South Washington County Schools named a new director of facilities.

Kyle Uecker will begin his new position Thursday, the district said.

Uecker is currently the senior maintenance coordinator for Minneapolis Public Schools, where he has worked for the past 16 years, the district said.

"I am excited to have Kyle join SoWashCo Schools to lead our facilities team," Dan Pyan, director of finance and operations said. "His extensive K-12 experience with MPS will be an asset to us."

Uecker also said he is excited to begin his new position.

“I am really looking forward to joining the Department of Facilities at SoWashCo Schools," Uecker said. "It feels like a homecoming as I grew up and currently live in Cottage Grove. I look forward to learning from the facilities team and working with them to keep the district moving forward in the ultimate goal of providing a safe, comfortable, clean and positive learning environment for SoWashCo Schools students and staff.”
