St. Michael’s Fox Hollow Golf Club Sold For $3.2M
Fox Hollow saw a 34 percent jump in rounds played at the course from 2019 to 2020 after the start of the pandemic, according to a report.

ST. MICHAEL, MN — Fox Hollow Golf Club in St. Michael was recently sold in a deal worth about $3.2 million.
Former owner Michael McGray sold the golf club to Casey Darkenwold, who grew up playing on the course, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported. The two had been talking about a potential sale for years, the report states.
Darkenwald plans to continue operating the facility as a golf club and event venue, according to a document related to the sale. He told the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal that golf simulators could be installed for winter, though other upgrades will take time to consider.

Fox Hollow Golf Club sits on a 150-acre property along the Crow River between St. Michael and Rogers. Its clubhouse hosts receptions, meetings and other events for groups of up to 240 guests, according to its website.
The golf club also has a practice facility with a full-length driving range, two putting and chipping greens, and a practice bunker.
