Homeowners associations must follow the same restrictions as residential properties, the city said.

Community members are still prohibited from watering in between noon and 5 p.m., the city said.

Hand watering trees and plants, washing vehicles and children playing in sprinklers is still permitted, the city said.

According to the city, failure to comply with watering restrictions is a violation of city code and violators could be issued an administrative citation.
