Woodbury Girl Organizing Run for Hope
A 7-year-old Woodbury girl was moved by a visit to the Washington County homeless shelter for children and families last year. So much so she's now organizing a run to benefit the new facility.

Torun Grace, then a 6-year-old who wanted to do something kind to help other children, is bringing a new event to Woodbury's Colby Lake Park next month.
"Race for Hope" is set for 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the park. There will be a 5K run/walk and stroller roll for families.
Torun, now 7, comes from a family of runners, and was inspired to organize a "Race for Hope" soon after visiting the opening ceremonies of the new Hope for the Journey Home shelter at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Oakdale. Sensing the need, she wants all proceeds from this "To Run for Hope: Hope for the Journey Home" event to benefit the facility and its families.
