Woodbury Police Seek Help Finding 71-Year-Old Man

Daniel Mastel, a 71-year-old man who suffers from dementia, biked from his home on Wednesday at about 5:30 p.m., police said.

WOODBURY, MN — The Woodbury Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding Daniel Mastel, a 71-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

Mastel left his home on Wednesday at about 5:30 p.m. on his blue ten-speed bike, authorities said. He did not bring his wallet or phone with him.

Mastel often rides around Oakdale, St. Paul, Maplewood and in Battle Creek Park, according to police.

Authorities describe Mastel as 6 feet tall, 185 pounds with grey hair, hazel eyes, a dark shirt, green shorts, and tattoos on his arms.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
