Woodbury Sets Record For Homes Built In 2020: Report

WOODBURY, MN — Woodbury set a 15-year record in 2020 for the most new houses built, according to a report by The St. Paul Pioneer Press.

City officials shared at a recent City Council meeting that in 2020, 891 new homes were built in Woodbury-508 market-rate apartments, 285 single-family homes and 98 attached units, the report said.

Also recently unveiled were plans for a 480-home proposal on Dale Road-this would be the city's largest housing development, according to the report.

The city is also building more homes through 35 additional projects, the publication reported.
