Woodbury Woman Killed Thursday In Cottage Grove Crash: Police
Police said the woman's car was struck broadside by another vehicle Thursday night as she tried to turn onto Highway 61.
COTTAGE GROVE, MN — A crash Thursday evening on Highway 61 killed a Woodbury woman and sent an Eagan teen to the hospital, police said.
The Minnesota State Patrol identified the woman who died Thursday as 51-year-old Jessica Ann Jackson, of Woodbury. Police said Jackson’s car was struck broadside by another vehicle around 6:56 p.m. as she tried to turn onto Highway 61 from 120th Avenue.

A 19-year-old from Eagan who was driving the other car was taken to the hospital Thursday with minor injuries, police said.
The Minnesota State Patrol said alcohol was not a factor in the Thanksgiving crash.
