- Owner of local business The Little Wine Shoppe, Christen Raanes, is now the first Mississippian to earn a diploma with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. Raanes is one of only 12,500 graduates from around the world to have completed the qualification in the past 54 years. - On Saturday, Aug. 5, Liverpool Legends: Beatles Experience will come to Hattiesburg's Saenger Theater. The tribute band that was put together by George Harrison's sister Louise to honor her brother’s legacy will be taking the stage to perform all of your favorite Beatles hits. - The Hattiesburg Parks and Recreation Department will host a Pickleball Clinic for men and women of all skill levels on Sunday, Jun. 18.
