• Arnold purchases compact track loader (myleaderpaper.com) — Arnold has approved spending over $92,000 on a new compact track loader to keep city park work running smoothly without costly breakdowns. The machine will primarily serve the Parks and Recreation Department at Arnold City Park, replacing a 2011 loader that officials say now needs about $42,000 in repairs and is constantly in the shop.
   

• Pevely man recently arrested for allegedly fleeing from police (myleaderpaper.com) — An Arnold Police officer was involved in an attempted traffic stop that led to felony charges against a Pevely man accused of fleeing officers in both Arnold and Pevely. Prosecutors are seeking enhanced penalties based on his prior convictions, and he remains jailed on a substantial bond after the alleged high-speed incident on I-55 and Hwy Z.
   

• Festus man arrested on drug charge (myleaderpaper.com) — Arnold Police recently arrested a Festus man who faces a felony drug possession charge tied to an incident at an Arnold home. Court records say officers previously found him hiding under deck stairs at the woman’s residence, where testing later showed drug residue as fentanyl and methamphetamine, and he remains jailed on bond.
