• Bolivar Fire Rescue Department honors 2025 award recipients (wbbjtv.com) — Bolivar Fire Rescue has honored Lieutenant B.J. Bolyard as its first-ever Emergency Medical Responder of the Year and Engineer Tyler Rice as Firefighter of the Year for the second straight year. Recognized during the department’s annual Christmas dinner, both firefighters were praised for hundreds of on- and off-duty responses, strong training leadership, and their commitment to protecting the Bolivar community.
