Springfield, Mo. – Effective March 14, 2022, the Springfield Police Department is reducing the hours of operation for the police headquarters lobby and telephone reporting access because of staffing issues. With fewer non-sworn personnel available, providing lobby and phone service for extended hours and days of the week is no longer feasible.
The front lobby, located at 321 E. Chestnut Expressway, will be available to the public from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the telephone reporting number, 417-864-1810, will reflect the same hours.
