The summer heat returns Wednesday & Thursday with highs in the low 90s and a heat index from 98 to 100. We're watching storms north during the day Thursday that might slip far enough south and into our area. If so, they could be severe. Then the storm chances increase Friday with scattered rain and storms likely.

Thursday: Low 75/High 94. Partly cloudy, hot, and humid. A 40% chance for thunderstorms in the evening, with increasing rain and storm chances overnight into Friday. If storms can develop far enough south in our area during the evening, some could be severe.
Friday: Low 73/High 85. Mostly cloudy with a 80% chance of rain and storms. Very humid.
