'Go-Getter' St. Louis Mom ‘Is An Amazing Mother!'

ST. LOUIS, MO— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

Kizzie Davis is a go-getter for her family. As a single mom, she works tirelessly, creating new streams of income to support her daughters. She never gives up, and her youngest daughter is graduating high school this year ... Kizzie is fun to be around, lighthearted, compassionate, caring and can always point someone in the right direction if needed. She is an amazing mother!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

I believe people who do so much for others are always looked at as if they are alright or don't need pats on the back. This is why I want to nominate Kizzie, to give her the flowers she deserves now and not later.
