Missouri Connections Academy Recognizes St. Louis Student

SPRINGFIELD, MO – Arian Chatman, of Saint Louis, was recently named one of Missouri Connections Academy’s (MOCA) Students of the Month in recognition of his outstanding achievements and leadership in the virtual classroom.

“Our students of the month demonstrate leadership and an extraordinary commitment to learning while serving as strong role models for their peers,” said Lynsie Hunt, School Leader at Missouri Connections Academy. “The members of our faculty and staff are proud to give these virtual classroom leaders the recognition they deserve.”

Arian is a Kindergartner at Missouri Connections Academy. According to his mother, Angela, they chose to have Arian start school online to be in a safe and consistent learning environment as the COVID pandemic continued. Angela said Arian’s transition to online learning went great because he is very easy-going and will adjust to any environment. She added that the flexibility the school provides works for their family.

“Missouri Connections Academy is a great online learning school. You’re able to adjust your learning schedule to your child's learning abilities,” Angela said. “What we like most is Arian can learn at his own pace.”

As a Student of the Month, Arian will receive a certificate of achievement and be profiled in the Missouri Connections Academy student newsletter and the school’s social media platforms.
