Missouri Connections Academy Recognizes St. Louis Students
Top Student Award recognizes achievements in and out of the virtual classroom
SPRINGFIELD, MO - Aezekia Greer and Aliyah Davis, both of St. Louis, were recently selected to be among Missouri Connections Academyβs (MOCA) βTop Studentsβ for the month of March in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the virtual classroom.
βWe appreciate the leadership our students demonstrate and their extraordinary commitment to learning and serving as strong role models for their peers,β said Lynsie Hunt, School Leader at Missouri Connections Academy. βThe members of our faculty and staff are proud to give these virtual classroom leaders the recognition they deserve.β
Aezekia is in Kindergarten at Missouri Connections Academy and according to his mother, Charmica, they enrolled him in the online school because their other children have had good experiences learning in a virtual classroom. Charmica said they appreciate the teachers and the different field trips that are offered -- in-person and online. It also has benefited them because they get to learn together as a family.
