  1. The Otto Bremer Trust recently awarded grants totaling over $1.1 million in Montana during April and May 2023. These grants were given to organizations that assist individuals, families, and communities in overcoming various challenges. The recipients in Eastern Montana included Big Brothers Big Sisters Yellowstone County, Boys & Girls Club of Yellowstone County, and Family Tree Center, with each organization receiving funding for general operations to support their respective programs and services.   2. Jozef Luptak and Boris Lenko, world-class musicians from Slovakia, will be returning to Billings for a highly anticipated concert at Montana State University Billings' Cisel Hall on Friday, Jun. 9. The concert is free and open to the public. This special performance will be dedicated to the families and refugees affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, with a repertoire that includes the duo's own compositions and selected pieces honoring their Ukrainian neighbors.   3. The annual Magic City Blues Festival is making its return to Billings at MetraPark! Taking place on Aug. 4-5, the festival attracts a large number of music fans from across the country and is considered a signature event for the city and the state.
