- Two individuals sustained serious injuries in a stabbing incident that occurred in Billings Heights on Saturday night, according to a report from the Billings Police. Officers were called to a residential disturbance on Windsor Circle North around 11:00 p.m., where they discovered the victims with stab wounds. The injured parties were transported to the hospital, and as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. (KULR-TV)
- Through the Believe in Local campaign, First Interstate Bank and BancSystem Foundation have granted $25,000 to Family Support Network, a local nonprofit in Billings. The organization focuses on providing programs that promote healthy parent-child interactions, aiming to break the cycle of abuse, neglect, poverty, and substance abuse. Executive Director Shawn Byrne expressed gratitude for the donation, emphasizing how it will contribute to their vision of ensuring every child in Montana has a safe and nurturing home, free from abuse and neglect. - The remains of Lt. Gordon Eugene Thompson, a World War II Marine fighter pilot, were transferred by U.S. Marines from a Delta Flight at Billings Airport on Friday night. Thompson, who grew up on a farm in Moccasin, went missing during a mission in Guadalcanal in 1942. After his remains were recovered from airplane wreckage in Guadalcanal, a graveside service with military honors will be held at Moccasin Cemetery on Wednesday, Jun. 7 at 2:00 p.m. (Subscription: Billings Gazette)

- Persistent heavy rainfall in Billings throughout the week overwhelmed the drainage system, resulting in flooding in various areas of the town. Homeowners experienced significant flooding, with water filling basements and surrounding their houses like lakes. The flooding was extensive, affecting roads such as S. Shiloh Road, which turned into a temporary fishing spot for some residents. (Q2 News)
