  1. Officers of Missoula's Police Department were on the scene of a burglary reported by an automated security system at the Broadway Sinclair station near Madison Street Bridge early Monday, Jun. 26. Over a dozen squad cars were seen outside the gas station around 2:00 a.m. on Monday. The investigation is ongoing. (NBC Montana)
  2. As Pride month draws to a close, Missoula's state representative Zooey Zephyr and other LGBTQ+ legislators continue to stand in opposition to measures brought before Montana's state legislature and other state governments to limit the rights and participation of queer people in America. Zephyr and other prominent people in Missoula's LGBTQ+ community have expressed their gratitude for Missoula's mid-June Pride as a celebration of queer people, art and culture, amid what they feel is a rising tide of bigotry against LGBTQ+ people and especially transgender people. 3. The Mountain Line bus system, fare-free throughout Missoula and the local area, has been selected for a $39.1 million grant from the Federal Transit Administration. This followed an influx of funding made possible by the passage of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which was supported across party lines by federal legislators.
