- Stakeholders in the Lolo National Forest are invited to share their views at a roundtable discussion with Forest Supervisor Carolyn Upton, scheduled for Wednesday, Jun. 14. The current draft assessment of the National Forest's plan details the overall current conditions of the forest surrounding Missoula extending towards the Idaho border and the Seeley Lake region south to Lolo. Forest Supervisor Upton will lead the in-person meeting from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Jun. 14, with registration available online and the options for comments to be submitted online as well. - Missoula will be celebrating LGBTQ Pride in the coming week, with the second annual Pride Parade set to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jun. 17. On Friday there will be a Run Wild Pride Run at 10:00 a.m. (NBC Montana)
- The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is recognizing several Montana businesses as "Zero Heroes" for achieving a commendable record of zero recordable injuries or illness incidents in 2022. Nine facilities in Montana were honored. This recognition highlights their commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. (News Talk KGVO)
