Pilot Killed At Nellis Air Force Base After F-16 Crash

A pilot was killed when an F-16 crashed at Nellis Air Force Base Wednesday morning.

LAS VEGAS, NV - An F-16 aircraft crashed at Nellis Air Force Base at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4. The condition of the pilot is currently unknown, according to a statement from Nellis Air Force Base.

The crash occurred during a routine training session on the Nevada Test and Training Range. Emergency personnel are responding to the scene and the crash is under investigation.

UPDATE (9:15 p.m.): Nellis Air Force Base has announced the pilot of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, which crashed Wednesday morning, died in the crash. The pilot's identity has not been released.
