Rabbi Hutchings becomes first woman leader in Nevada's largest Reform Jewish temple (8newsnow.com) — Southern Nevada’s Jewish community just marked a milestone as Rabbi Jessica Hutchings was installed as the first woman to lead Congregation Ner Tamid in Las Vegas, the state’s largest Reform Jewish temple. After years serving as cantor and completing rabbinic studies, she’s now guiding a 100,000-strong local Jewish population, aiming to blend long-held traditions with a progressive, community-focused approach.
