- There are 119 dogs at the Animal Foundation in Las Vegas that need foster families over the holiday season. Jason Myer, who’s been fostering for a few months, says he enjoys the companionship of foster dogs. Fostering can be a good fit for people like Myer who cannot commit to owning a dog long-term. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- A Las Vegas man has suffered life-threatening injuries from a go-cart crash on Tuesday afternoon. Police say the homemade go-cart crashed into a parked SUV. Surveillance video, witness statements, and scene evidence are being used to investigate the accident. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- Jonathan Nagel has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for a series of armed robberies in Las Vegas. Nagel pleaded guilty in September to robbing six businesses, brandishing a firearm, and failing to appear in court. Following his time in prison, Nagel will serve five years of supervised release. (Las Vegas Sun)

- RTC of Southern Nevada has announced free rides on New Year's Eve as well as an adjusted schedule for the Christmas and New Year's weekends. RTC buses will operate on a Saturday schedule on both Christmas Day and New Year's Day. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
