  1. The City of Las Vegas has filed some new bid opportunities. The city is looking for project bids for the Lorenzi Park Replacement Well, the Dual Gym HVAC replacement, and the 7th Street improvement project.   2. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday morning. According to the department, the incident occurred in the 2600 block of South Maryland Parkway. The department shut down Karen Avenue for the investigation. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
  3. The City of Las Vegas is bringing back its "Toys for Tickets" program. Participants will be able to donate a toy in exchange for payment of a parking fine. The program is only being offered for non-public safety parking tickets. The donated toys must be unwrapped and of equal or greater value to the ticket. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
