🌱 City Unveils Two New Statues + Key To The Strip Given To Kimmel

Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

1. The City of Las Vegas has unveiled two new statues. The bronze statues are meant to honor former Mayor Oscar Goodman and fallen officer Lt. Erik Lloyd. Goodman's statue is located at the Historic Fifth Street School on S. Fourth Street. Lloyd's statue is located at the Centennial Hills Community Center on N. Buffalo Drive. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
2. Clark County Commissioner Tick Saegerblom has awarded Jimmy Kimmel with the Key to the Strip. The award was presented to Kimmel during the reopening of Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club. Kimmel is a Las Vegas native. He now joins a long list of entertainers and celebrities that have been awarded the Key to the Strip. (Las Vegas Weekly)
3. Clark County Sheriff and governor-elect Joe Lombardo delivered a victory speech at Las Vegas' Rancho High School on Monday. Lombardo announced his campaign at Rancho High School last year. He defeated Gov. Steve Sisolak on Nov. 8 in the Midterm Election. He secured a narrow win with about 48.9 percent of the vote. (News 3 LV)
