Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

1. The City of Las Vegas hosted a training exercise on Saturday to practice for an earthquake. The special training was held in connection with the Southern Nevada Community Emergency Response Team. The 18-hour exercise included first aid, search and rescue, and damage assessment training. (News3LV)
2. Las Vegas' Food Truck Wine Walk will be held in Tivoli Village on Saturday, Nov. 12. The popular event will feature 15 wine-tasting stations with food pairings. The event will be from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Click for ticket information. (Las Vegas Weekly)
3. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles is encouraging Las Vegas residents to conduct business online during the holiday season. The department's locations will have long wait times due to ongoing staffing shortages, unnecessary office visits, and holiday closures.
