PARADISE, NV — Sleepy passengers flying on a red-eye flight got quite a wake-up early Friday as a landing gear issue reportedly caused the plane to experience a "hard landing" at Harry Reid International Airport in Paradise, Nevada.
An airport spokesman told KTNV a Sun Country plane heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota, turned around and made a hard landing just before 1:30 a.m. Friday after the landing gear collapsed.
