  1. Hard Rock International completed its acquisition of the Mirage Hotel & Casino and assumed operations control on Monday of the hotel and casino. The Mirage will continue under its current name until rebranding and renovation plans are complete. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  2. The North Las Vegas community held a vigil for two girls who were killed in a suspected DUI crash last week. Police said that the two-year-old and three-year-old were not wearing age-appropriate protective restraints. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  3. Fremont Street hosted a menorah lighting ceremony to kick off the first night of Hanukkah. The ceremony featured a 20-foot-tall menorah, leaders from the Chabad of Southern Nevada, the Las Vegas mayor, and performances by Dancing Dreidels. (News3LV)
