Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:
- HELP of Southern Nevada teamed up with the Junior League of Las Vegas to distribute food on Saturday. The food distribution was part of the "Done In A Day" event. Over 2,000 non-perishable food bags were distributed. The distributed food is meant to ensure hundreds of local families can celebrate Thanksgiving. (News3LV)
- The North Las Vegas Police Department is conducting an investigation into a homicide which occurred on Saturday near San Miguel and Coleman. The department responded to the area at about 4:21 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired. The shooting victim, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead on the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (News3LV)
- A fire displaced 17 individuals in northwest Las Vegas early Saturday. The two-alarm fire impacted eight residences at a large apartment complex. No one was injured during the fire. (Subscription: Las Vegas Review-Journal)
