- A Las Vegas local has been charged for sexually assaulting a woman in parking garages. Lavonte Stuckey, 19, approached a sex worker in the parking lot of the Orleans Hotel. He propositioned her for a date; however, when she entered his vehicle, Stuckey threatened to shoot her if she didn't agree to have sex with him without payment. He also locked her in the car and refused to let her out until she gave him her money. Stuckey has been charged with sexual assault with the use of a deadly weapon, attempted robbery, kidnapping, and sex trafficking an adult. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- While the rest of the country braces for dangerously cold weather this weekend, Las Vegas locals will be enjoying some surprisingly warm weather. On Christmas Day, the temperature is expected to rise to the mid-60s. This is 10 degrees higher than the average temperature for this time of year. By next week, the weather will take a turn, and the city may see some snow. (News3LV)
