Las Vegas Police Investigating Weekend Murders
Police are investigating two separate weekend murders in which both victims knew their suspected killer.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating two separate murders that occurred inside residences across the city over the weekend.
On Friday night, March 16, police conducted a welfare check on a woman living on Cameron St. The officers entered the home through an unlocked garage door after there was no answer to a knock on the door. Inside, a woman was found dead wrapped in a blanket, according to a press release. A male suspect was also found unresponsive on a bed after police said he attempted suicide by taking "various pills." The man was taken to University Medical Center and also booked into Clark County Detention Center. Police did not specify how they linked the man to the woman's murder.
On Saturday, March 17, police responded to an apartment complex on Nellis Blvd. after a man who police say had blood on his body asked an employee of the apartment complex to help with his roommate. When police arrived they found a woman who had died from "significant trauma" and 22-year old Malcolm Aubry, who was "covered in blood." Aubry was taken into custody and booked into Clark County Detention Center on the murder charge.
