  1. A Las Vegas man has been arrested for allegedly killing his roommate following an argument. Jesus Mendoza-Zarate, 24, is accused of shooting his roommate in their residence near the 3500 block of San Francisco Avenue. The victim, whose identity has not been released as of Tuesday evening, was pronounced dead at the scene. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  2. A Las Vegas casino guest has won big and hit the jackpot. Caesars Casino announced that on Tuesday morning, one of their guests won the $250,000 jackpot. The lucky guest, who has not been publicly identified, earned $255,148.00 in a game of Ultimate Texas Hold'em. (News3LV)
  3. Students at Las Vegas public schools are struggling with an internet outage. Students returned to classes on Tuesday morning, but they were met with technical difficulties as schools throughout the valley proved unable to get online. According to the Clark County School District, students and educators should expect issues connecting to online resources. There has been no word on when the issue will be resolved. (News3LV)
