- Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman announced a new campaign to highlight downtown Las Vegas during her State of the City address. The "Down For Anything" campaign intends to bring attention to downtown businesses and experiences. (News3LV)
- Egg prices have nearly tripled in some places over the last few months, and Las Vegas residents have been feeling the impact. The increase in prices for eggs is due to an outbreak of avian flu, which has affected tens of millions of birds in almost all states in the country. (Subscription: Las Vegas Review-Journal)
- Tourists and fans honored Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley, by leaving flowers and candles outside of the Graceland Wedding Chapel, one of the official chapels for the Presley estate.
