BOULDER CITY, NV — More human remains were found at Lake Mead, less than a week after a body was discovered in a barrel at the lake, according to authorities.

Human skeletal remains were found about 2 p.m. Saturday at Callville Bay in Boulder City, according to the National Park Service, which added that the Clark County Medical Examiner had been contacted to determine the cause of death. The county coroner confirmed Monday that all information about the case remained pending.

The first body, discovered May 1, is believed to have been a homicide victim who was fatally shot, and who died between the mid-1970s and early 1980s, police said.
