- The Mob Museum in Las Vegas provided free access yesterday to celebrate Nevada Day. The new Event Plaza also held a community celebration from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. that featured live music, games, and trick-or-treating spots. Nevada Day is meant to recognize the official date of Nevada's statehood — Oct. 31, 1864. (News3LV)
- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a suspect in a deadly shooting that occurred in August. DeAngelo Gray, 32, was arrested in connection to the incident that occurred at Sierra Vista Drive and Wilson Square and resulted in the death of one victim. He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a murder with a deadly weapon charge. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
- A Las Vegas doctor is warning the community about a third respiratory illness that is presenting an increase in case numbers. Dr. Patrick Olivieri, the Medical Director at Desert Springs Medical Center, warns that residents need to be cautious about the flu, COVID-19, and the respiratory illness known as RSV. The doctor is asking residents to follow basic hygiene practices such as washing hands and staying home when feeling ill. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
