  1. Las Vegas-based Esoes Cosmetics created a lipstick to protect women from date rape drugs, sexual assault, and domestic violence. The product has two test strips used to detect the presence of date rape drugs, such as Rohypnol, Ativan, Xanax, and Klonopin, in drinks. A Bluetooth button on the lipstick allows women to send a location, send a pre-typed message, or call 911. (News3LV)
  2. Cases of the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) are rising in Clark County, and the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) is warning the community about the impact of seasonal respiratory illnesses. According to SNHD, November reported 1,800 cases of RSV, which is a 200 percent increase from November 2021. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  3. Police have identified a North Las Vegas 42-year-old man who was found dead early Monday morning after he ran back into an apartment fire. Michael Floresca was seen running out of the apartment and back in. The Clark County coroner’s office said he died from inhalation of combustion products and ruled his death a suicide.
