- A Las Vegas native has won a $150,000 jackpot after playing Pai-Gow for the first time. The resident has been identified as "Anderson." He won the jackpot at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino on Wednesday. He was visiting with friends who were visiting from Texas. Anderson won with a seven-card straight flush with an Ace-King in the hole. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has opened an investigation into an incident that resulted in the fatal shooting of a man attempting to jump-start a vehicle on Saturday. The shooting occurred near a residence in the 1100 block of Hassell Avenue around 3:24 p.m. The man killed has been identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as 54-year-old William Emmerson Hill, Jr. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- The Las Vegas tourism industry is preparing for a long winter. The industry is beginning to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, but rising inflation has the industry concerned for the future. Recession fears have also intensified recently. The industry is working on a contingency plan for the economic cool-down period. (VEGAS INC)
