- The Clark County Coroner's office has identified the individual who was killed on Interstate 15 at Flamingo Road on Tuesday morning. Keith Burdo, 42, of South Burlington, Vermont, was struck by multiple vehicles at about 3:11 a.m. The incident is still being investigated but impairment is not suspected at this time. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- The Las Vegas City Council is considering a new parking garage in the growing Arts District. The new parking addition would be funded by bonds and the city's funds. Revenue from the structure's parking meters will also help cover the cost. The specific site of the proposed parking garage has not been finalized. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- Las Vegas' Heaven Can Wait Animal Society has served its 175,000 patient. The shelter estimates its services have kept about 525,000 cats and dogs from being on local streets. The shelter reports its spay and neuter clinic has been under heavy demand due to a bottleneck caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
